Hindu Astrology, more commonly known as Vedic Astrology has been practiced in India for many millennia. Astrologers have been and still are consulted for almost all the trivial matters. From finding a favourable date to marry to naming a child, from deciding when to invest in real estate to staring a new business, etc. In this presentation we will learn about the basic concepts of astrology which build the foundation of astrology which can then be used in numerous ways. Few of the topics that will be covered are structure of an Types of Astrology, Astrological Chart, Houses and their significations, Zodiac signs and their lordships, Planets and their significations, Strength and Weakness of Planets, Asterisms. All the knowledge that we will build during this presentation will be applied in the next presentation (Astrology 102) to understand certain events as they have happened.
